Living Energy Farms is an off the grid community based in Louisa Virginia. They are a small community whose mission is to live without using fossil fuels. They produce their own electricity using DC Microgrids. Our point of contact within this group has been Alex Zeigler. He was one of the founders of the community and has been living on self-sufficient farms nearly his whole life. He was able to direct us on our project, what it would look like, and what materials we would need to get it done.
