  • SOLV energy wants reliable systems? How do we guarantee this with student implementation?

  • The development model objectives associated with this course are sustainability without constant oversight. However, SOLV’s aim is to make money and facilitate this project as a public relations operation. How do we manage these conflicting models?

  • Cal Poly Perspective: Cal Poly facilitates initial project implementation. From there, the local community handles the operation. After training and installation, Cal Poly students are no longer required in-person. They become long-distance contacts less intensive facilitators from afar. 

  • Project legacy: how do we pass on responsibility after Spring Quarter? All team members are graduating senior students.
